The DIN 939 threaded pin is manufactured according to the GOST 22034-76 standard from carbon steel of different strength classes 5.6; 5.8; 8.8; 10.9, and austenitic stainless steel A2-70; A2-80; A4-70; A4- 80. For better resistance to the external environment, steel pins are coated with galvanized zinc.
Having different threaded ends, the DIN 939 fastener is intended for attaching parts with holes to parts of structures that have blind holes for a threaded pin.
A special feature of this fastener is that the threaded ends have different purposes. One of them, a nut, is used to fasten the parts with hex bolts, and the other one is a screw-in one, which creates a threaded place on the surface of the structures and is completely screwed into the body of the part.
DIN 939 pin is used for attaching flanges to pipelines, taps, and machine tools.
