Elevator bolt DIN 15237

In the world, any complex production process is impossible without a conveyor. One of its main components is a conveyor belt. There are many varieties of them, one of which is called a bucket elevator (a mechanism used to lift liquid/bulk components vertically or at a desired angle to a height of no more than 60 cm). It is in such constructions that the Elevator Bolt DIN 15237 is mainly used, it is also called a conveyor/support/conveyor/elevator/transportation bolt.

Product appearance:

long steel rod with a strength class of 3.6 to 5.8, made of carbon or stainless steel without/ with galvanization, in sizes from 20 to 70 (mm)
the thread can be full or partial, but always with a large pitch (1-1.75 mm)
large round flat on top and convex at the bottom of the hat, which has 2 cone-shaped spikes attached symmetrically on both sides on the underside

Additional spikes tightly fix the connection from above by biting into the surface of the product, and the nut, which is screwed on the reverse side, makes this fastening so reliable that self-tightening becomes impossible.

It is the specific design and technical characteristics that make it possible to successfully use this metal product for attaching the so-called “bucket elevators” and other elements to the conveyor belt. Such conveyors are often used in the food industry to transport bulk cereals, flour, sugar, etc.; in agriculture – feed, fertilizers, and grains; in construction – sand, crushed stone, and cement; in the mining industry – coal and ore. Such bolts are indispensable in all production areas.
