Self-locking cap nut DIN 986 with nylon liner is used to connect components in structures, together with other fasteners, subject to high vibration. A protective cap and a polymer ring protect the equipment from fluid leakage and self loosening of nodal connections at high temperature fluctuations. That is why this type of DIN 986 nut is used in manufacturing plants with machine tools, in the assembly of transport mechanisms and other industries.
The DIN 986 cap nut is made of stainless steel A2-70; A2-80; A4-70; A4-80, as well as of steel 6.0; 8.0; (galvanized).
