DIN 985 (ISO 10511) self-locking nut with low flange for plastic or nylon ring. The peculiarity of this nut is its use in places with aggressive atmospheric conditions and large temperature differences. Moreover, the DIN 985 nut with this polymer insert is used to connect mechanisms and structures subject to strong vibration loads.

It is made of stainless steel A2-70; A2-80; A4-70; A4-80, brass, steel 6.0; 8.0; 10.0, with the following coatings:

-cinnamon;

hot-dip galvanizing and galvanizing;

The DIN 985 self-tightening hexagonal nut with one-inch thread is used in conjunction with other fasteners that can be ordered at https://www.eurobolt.com.ua.

Analogs of DIN 982:

DIN 985 – self-locking low nuts with nylon ring. Comparison of DIN 982 and DIN 985 nut standards.
ISO 7040 – standard self-tightening hex nuts (with non-metallic insert). Strength classes 5, 8 and 10.
ISO 10512 – standard self-tightening hex nuts (with non-metallic insert) with metric fine thread. Strength classes 6, 8 and 10.
GOST R 50273-92 – self-locking hex nuts with a non-metallic insert with a nominal thread diameter from 3 to 36 mm, accuracy classes A (d < M16) and B (d > M16)

Marking

d – nominal thread diameter
h – height of the nut
m – height of the threaded part, min.
s – size of the turnkey nut
