The spring locking nut DIN 7967 has special protrusions (feet) that rest against the thread to prevent it from loosening and protect it from vibration. The DIN 7967 locknut is lightweight and reduces the overall weight of the part.
The nut is designed with 6 slots in the center and 6 faces on the outside of the body, creating reliability and strength in the connecting nodes.
The use of this fastener helps to “dampen” dynamic and vibration loads on machine tools and other complex mechanisms in industrial structures.
The DIN 7967 nut is made of spring and stainless steel A2-70; A2-80; A4-70; A4-80.
