Low square nut DIN 562 is most often used as a fastening element for connecting metal sheets in the manufacture of refrigeration equipment, server cabinets, metal furniture (cabinets, racks, shelves), etc. To do this, it is placed in a special casing with a lug, where the free positioning of the nut allows for installation even when the location of the nut holes and the element to be attached do not match. Such a product is known as a cage or bail nut.
The DIN 562 self-drilling nut is widely used in any industrial sector where square groove mounting is required. This prevents the connection from scrolling. Mounting is done with screws, studs or bolts.
The nuts have accuracy class C. Stainless steel, steel with anti-corrosion coating (galvanized zinc) are available to order. Do not require special tools for installation
