The wing nuts (DIN 315) are a special connecting element that does not require any special tools to tighten or fix elements. The installation is manual and allows you to reuse the connection as needed.
It has found wide application in furniture assembly, quick-release components in instrumentation, and building structures.
The wing nut is made of non-corrosive steels of strength classes 4.0 and 5.0 and is galvanized with zinc. Also made of stainless steels – A2-70; A2-80; A4-70; A4-80 and brass.
The wing nut from Eurobolt Ukraine has 2 types of design, depending on the shape of the petals:
AM is an American shape with rectangular petals. This type is the most common, as the production of nuts does not require additional processing of the edges of the petals, which makes it as functional as the product without increasing the cost of the product. Due to its demand and high quality of fasteners, the AM wing nut is constantly maintained in Eurobolt Ukraine’s warehouses and is available for ordering.
GF is a German form with rounded petals. This type has its advantages if you need to solve the technical task of connecting parts and preserve its aesthetic side. This wing nut is delivered to order in the shortest possible time from German factories thanks to a well-established logistics system and our own transport. To order, please contact the Eurobolt Ukraine office.
Analogous to DIN 315:
GOST 3032-76 – wing nut of accuracy class B, thread sizes from M3 to M24.
Marking
d – nominal thread diameter
P – thread pitch, mm
d2 – lower diameter of the wing nut, max.
d3 – upper diameter of the nut, max.
e – width of the wing nut with ears, max, mm
h – height of the nut with ears, max, mm
m – height of the threaded part of the nut, max.
