The terminal rivet is specially designed for use in the energy and electronics industries to protect people from electric shock.
The body of the rivet is made of brass, and the rod is made of rimmed steel. This design is necessary to create a reliable connection and grounding in electrical appliances, mechanisms, or in electrical wires.
There are two types of rivet-clamps: single-clamp (with one contact lug) and double-clamp (with two lugs). The maximum current is 25A. It is fixed in a metal sheet. The most commonly used rivet-cleat size is 4×7 (4-diameter of the rod, 7-length of the rod)
