The DIN 7982 C flat countersunk head metric screws with Phillips head are designed for use in thin sheet metal.

This type of DIN 7982 screws is screwed into pre-drilled holes.

DIN 7982 screws (self-tapping screws) are made of galvanized steel as well as A2 and A4 stainless steel, which significantly improves resistance to tarnishing or corrosion.

Analogs of DIN 7982:

ISO 7050 – self-tapping screws with countersunk head and Phillips slot. Unlike DIN 7982, the screw head angle is 90°.
ISO 14586 – self-tapping screws with countersunk head and Torx slot.
GOST 10619-80 is a self-tapping countersunk head screw with a Phillips head and a blunt end for metal and plastic of accuracy class B with a nominal thread diameter of 2.5 to 8 mm. Comparison of DIN 7982 and GOST 10619-80 standards.
GOST 11652-80 is a self-tapping countersunk head screw with a Phillips head and a pointed end for metal and plastic of accuracy class B with a nominal thread diameter of 2.5 to 8 mm.

Marking
d – thread diameter
d k – diameter of the countersunk head
k is the height of the flush head, max.
PH, PZ – the size of the cross bit
ISR – Torx bit size
y – length of the tip
