Hardened steel, galvanized with chromium plating

The self-tapping screws for parquet boards with countersunk head and wide thread pitch are made of hardened steel with chrome plating (yellow zinc).
This type of screws has a pointed end shape and is perfect for high-quality work with soft or hard wood, MDF or chipboard.
The Torx socket head has two main advantages:
– minimal pressure is required to hold the tip of a screwdriver (or other device) in the recess of the head, which virtually eliminates the possibility of twisting;
– The transmission of the driving force is radial rather than axial, so less force is required, making it easier to drive screws.
