Flat washer DIN 125A without chamfer is the most widely used type of washer in construction, mechanical engineering and other technical fields. Complies with both the national GOST 11371-78 and international ISO 7089-90 standards
The DIN 125A flat washer is made of high-strength steel 140HV, 200HV, 300 HV and is used with nuts and bolts with high strength 10.9, 12.9. DIN 125A stainless washers are of steel grades A2-70; A2-80; A4-70; A4-80 and are used in environments containing acids, chlorine, and high humidity. Brass washers DIN 125A are usually installed in conjunction with other brass fasteners in electrical connectors.
The shape of the DIN 125A washer allows for a larger contact area between the bolt or nut and the workpiece, creating a stronger and more reliable connection in areas subject to high vibration and preventing the material from being pushed through.
Analogs of DIN 125:
GOST 11371-78 – washers of the normal range of accuracy classes A and C for fasteners with a thread diameter from 1 to 48 mm. Comparison of DIN 125 and GOST 11371-78 standards.
ISO 7089 – flat washers, normal series, accuracy class A.
Marking
d – nominal diameter of the metric, inch thread of fasteners
d1 – inner diameter of the washer, min, in parentheses – ISO 7089
d2 – outer diameter, max.
h – thickness of the washer
