The DIN 436 square washer is manufactured in accordance with the international standard ISO 7094 and is used in the appliance, machine building and most often in construction to protect the surface of wooden structures from being pushed through.

With its square shape, the DIN 436 washer significantly reduces the load on the workpiece by increasing the base area. This feature prevents mechanisms and elements from failing for a long time, increasing the reliability and quality of connections.

As a rule, carbon steel with a hardness of 100HV and a coating of galvanized zinc or stainless steel A2-70 or A2-80 are used as materials for the manufacture of DIN 436 washers to avoid corrosion in places with aggressive external environments.
