DIN 931

DIN 933

DIN 931 and DIN 933 are standards for hexagon head bolts with partial and full metric threads.

DIN 931 bolts are produced with an incomplete thread up to 153 mm long and with a maximum shank length of up to 950 mm. DIN 931 bolts are recommended for connecting parts and structures of great thickness.

DIN 933 bolts are fully threaded over the entire length of the shank, except for the threaded area. The maximum length reaches 340 mm. Bolts are better used in construction and mechanical engineering for fastening thin parts or in the case of serial connection of several parts with intermediate fixation with a separate nut.
