DIN 912 and GOST 11738-84 – standards for screws with a cylindrical head with an internal hexagon key. Analogue – ISO 4762-77.
DIN 912 screws have a wider range of standard sizes than GOST 11738-84 and can satisfy more requirements when selecting fasteners.
Screws according to GOST 11738-84 are allowed to be manufactured with lower strength classes 5.5, 6.8 compared to DIN 912, which makes it possible to reduce the cost of serial production of products with lower requirements.
