The high-strength bolt with a hexagonal head and incomplete thread DIN 931 is an irreplaceable element of connecting individual parts and assemblies in mechanical engineering, which are subjected to a very heavy load. The use of metal products in such cases in many situations helps not only to avoid the use of welding joints, but also provides the necessary strength of this structure. If we take into account the feedback of buyers, then during installation, to avoid deformation of the material, it is better to put additional washers under the bolt head. Bolts with a strength class of 8.8 and higher can also be used in the construction of super-heavy metal structures, such as the installation of bridge spans, when the joints are constantly affected by static, vibration and cyclic loads of a wide range. If there is a need to create removable connections, manufacturers suggest supplementing the structure with nuts (possible self-checking) and washers (for example, flat, enlarged or grooved), or locknuts of the required diameter.
